Low Rain Chances Through Easter

Temperatures are pleasant approaching noon. We are already in the lower 60s with some spots hitting 70° this afternoon. The sky remains mostly sunny the rest of the day.

A weak disturbance moves through on Good Friday. This system isn’t a strong one and the best chance of rain stays to the south of the Tennessee Valley. A decent amount of rain could fall along the gulf coast Friday into Friday night. Behind the system, drier air builds in for Saturday and Easter Sunday. Temperatures rebound nicely into the middle to upper 70s this weekend.

If you plan on sunrise services Easter Sunday, the weather cooperates nicely. We’ll go with a partly cloudy sky with temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. What about the sunrise time in your neighborhood? It starts in the east at 6:05am and ends in the west at 6:15am (Bridgeport/Fort Payne to Red Bay/Waterloo.). It takes 10 minutes!

Finally, how about a little spring football? I’m sure several Tide and Tiger fans are itching to get down to Tuscaloosa and Auburn this weekend. The weather at Jordan-Hare and Bryant Denny look good! Highs reach the middle to upper 70s under a partly cloudy sky. Enjoy! Roll Tide & War Eagle!
