Rain Moves East – Icy Spots North

It’s an uneventful morning in the Tennessee Valley. The heaviest rain is now east of I-65 and it’s just that…..rain. Temperatures remain above freezing and travel problems aren’t expected this morning expect in southern middle Tennessee. Here is the regional satellite and radar. Lincoln, Giles, and Lawrence Counties in Tennessee have a few icy spots this morning.

  • Green – Light Rain
  • Yellow – Moderate Rain
  • Pink – Freezing Rain/Sleet

Here are your temperatures. Prepare for wet roads on the way to work this morning. There could be a few slick spots on elevated surfaces and bridges later as temperatures dip to near freezing. Most of the precipitation should be east of the region by the time the coldest air arrives. Right now, travel problems aren’t expected for most.
