Some clouds will be passing overhead tonight as a weak, fast-moving disturbance dives southeast across the region. A sprinkle or snowflake cannot completely be ruled out, but there’s very dry air just above the surface, and we don’t anticipate any precipitation of significance.

Temperatures at daybreak Sunday should range from the mid-to-lower-30’s  generally, with our usual colder spots dropping into the upper-20’s. After this chilly start, we’ll see a west northwest wind of about 10 to 20mph develop by the afternoon, while mostly sunny skies help us climb into the mid-50’s. All-in-all, Sunday should be a cool and somewhat breezy, but pleasant day.

Highly anticipated warmer weather arrives next week, but an unsettled weather pattern means multiple rain chances for the Tennessee Valley. We discuss how much warmth we’re expecting and when we’ll see the best chance for widespread heavy thunderstorms in the complete forecast discussion.
