One More Cold Night
It’s sunny but temperatures struggle! Just after 11am, temperatures are in the upper 40s. We have one more night of cold weather before a nice warming trend into next week. Here is a shot at Lake Guntersville at 11:15am Friday. This is looking at the US 431 bridge. A gorgeous day, but chilly to be on the lake this afternoon.
How cold did it get this morning? Here are your official morning lows from Friday. It will be even colder Saturday morning. Huntsville got down to 31° with a chilly 25° in Winchester.
The entire viewing audience is under a freeze warning again on Saturday morning. I’m thinking from midnight to 9am temperatures will likely be at or below freezing in the Tennessee Valley. Keep those plants covered one more night. Northern Madison County, Limestone, Jackson, DeKalb and southern middle Tennessee have the highest chance of getting into the middle 20s overnight. A hard freeze is likely for these spots. Bundle up for football games tonight with temperatures in the middle 40s at kickoff and upper 30s by the 4th quarter.
