Pleasant Airmass In Place

There is a big difference in the airmass this morning compared to Tuesday morning. First, here is the 24 hour temperature change. Yesterday at this time, temperatures were in the middle 70s. It was warm and muggy with showers in the area. This morning it’s just the opposite. Readings are in the middle 60s with no rain to be found. It’s 10° cooler compared to this time yesterday in Huntsville and 14° cooler in Winchester.

Look at the dewpoints. This gives us an idea on how much moisture is in the air. The lower the number, the drier the air. Not only this morning, but Thursday and Friday mornings should be pleasantly cool as well.

There is some patchy fog in spots. It’s not too dense, but it could be in isolated spots heading into work. It’s typical to have dense fog with a clear sky and calm wind. It helps as well to have a soaking rain like we did recently. Overall it will be a nice day with highs in the middle to upper 80s under a mostly sunny sky.
