Isolated Morning Showers
Some of us are getting wet this morning. Showers are isolated at best and most areas won’t see anything like we did Labor Day. Here is a look at LIVE ARMOR around 3:45am. A few showers dot Madison and Morgan Counties. These move east-southeast. If they hold together, Marshall and Jackson Counties could get wet.
There is much drier air up to our northwest this morning. Right now dewpoints hold in the 70s, but look at Springfield and St. Louis. With dewpoints in the 50s there, that means drier air isn’t far off. That’s what’s heading this way! Wednesday morning will feel very pleasant for us in the Tennessee Valley. Temperatures dip into the middle 60s. Low lying areas and southern middle Tennessee could dip into the upper 50s.
With drier air ahead, rain chances go way down this week. Here are your updated rain totals for Huntsville:
- Monday’s Total: 0.90″
- 2013: 44.52″ (+7.99)
