The Next 24 Hours – Warm Again on Wednesday

Huntsville made it to 85º and Muscle Shoals made it to 86º on Tuesday, and we should be close to that again on Wednesday. This warming trend took over the weather situation quickly, but it looks like warmer days are here to stay for a while. We cannot promise full sunshine like we had Tuesday, but even with a few clouds in the sky, Wednesday will have the same almost summer-like feel that Tuesday had: highs in the mid-80s with a southwest breeze at 10 to 17 miles per hour.

That southwest wind increases the humidity through Wednesday evening, and that plays a key role in rising rain chances on Thursday and Friday. An upper-air disturbance moving east from Texas brings in a few widely scattered showers and storms to end the week. In spite of the clouds and scattered showers, temperatures will be near or just above average.
