Nice Afternoon – Rain Chances Low

After a cool start, it’s shaping up to be a beautiful day.  Only a few clouds through the rest of the afternoon. Temperatures top out in the lower 70s which is below the average of 80°. Here is a look from our downtown Huntsville camera just before noon.

We are in the lower to middle 60s so far. Slightly milder than this time yesterday. Temperatures trend upward through this week! Middle 80s start tomorrow.

What about rainfall? Something we’ve seen too much of as of late. On average, Huntsville sees around 5.11″ for the month. So far we’ve had 5.51″ and the month isn’t half over. Thankfully, this week our rain chances are very low. The next system set to impact the area Thursday into Friday is a weak one. The Hydrometeorological Prediction Center only has the Tennessee Valley in the 0.25″ to .0.50″ range Thursday into Friday. No severe weather with this system either. Enjoy the stretch of drier and warmer weather! This is one of the quietest extended forecasts we’ve had in awhile!
