Sunday Afternoon Radar Update
The upper-level low we’ve been tracking is now centered over Northwest Alabama and is producing widely scattered showers and storms moving in a counter-clockwise flow around the center of the low.
Occasional heavy thunderstorms will be possible, and some may produce some hail thanks to hail thanks to a cold atmosphere aloft. These systems often produce weak cold-core funnel clouds. These features look ominous, but should not be a concern today.
The rain chances continue tonight and tomorrow as the low continues its slow trek across the region. More updates to come.
