Frost Advisory in Effect Tonight

Skies will gradually clear overnight, and this lack of cloud-cover combined with light winds will allow temperatures to fall into the mid-to-lower-30’s by sunrise Saturday, resulting in the possibility of frost, particularly in the usual cold sheltered valleys.

A frost advisory is in effect for all of North Alabama and Southern Middle Tennessee from 4AM to 9AM Saturday morning.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 8 AM CDT SATURDAY.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...AREAS OF FROST ARE EXPECTED TO OCCUR
  FROM 4 AM TO 8 AM CDT ACROSS NORTH ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN MIDDLE
  TENNESSEE.

* TEMPERATURE...33 TO 36 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED.

* IMPACTS...COLD TEMPERATURES AND FROST WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO
  HARM OR KILL SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIDESPREAD FROST IS EXPECTED.
SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.
