Clearing Out & Warming Up!
We wait patiently for sunshine and warmer temperatures. They are almost here. The morning showers are all but gone and peeks of sun are heading our way. Here is latest water vapor image.
- Bright White Clouds/Green – Moisture and Rain
- Darker Black and Orange – Drier Air In the Midlevels.
This image shows the amount of moisture in the atmosphere. The drier air moves eastward today and with that, more sun and warmer temperatures.
Here is the regional scene for the weekend. High pressure takes over and moves to our southeast. Clockwise flow allows a southwest wind to warm us up into the lower to middle 70s. Perhaps a few more clouds Sunday, but no rain.
Look at the temperature trend. We see a definite pattern shift ahead. Temperatures average well above normal with dry weather for the first half of next week. However, a chance of storm to severe storms are possible later on as a strong cold front moves in. It’s too early to tell the timing and severity, but something to watch as we move into next week.
