The Next 24 Hours – Finally Some Friday Sunshine!

Friday morning may start with some clouds and light rain, drizzle, and fog, but it won’t last! The clearing line moves from Southern Tennessee around sunrise to the south of Sand Mountain, Lookout Mountain and US 278 by lunchtime. A dry north-northwest wind around 10 to 15 miles per hour will make it feel cool even though temperatures will be on the rise!

Expect afternoon high temperatures in the lower and middle 60s on Friday, and it’s going to get chilly again on Friday night: upper 30s and lower 40s by Saturday morning. The rest of the weekend looks spectacular, but next week may get ugly over a wide area in the United States as a powerful Spring storm system develops.
