The Next 24 Hours – Warming Trend Begins Friday!
And a heck of a warming trend it will be! Thursday’s high in Huntsville was only 51º F; a morning low of 27º put the average temperature for the day a full TWELEVE degrees below average for the 7th day of March. The average high on Friday (Huntsville) is 62 degrees; we will finally get close to that between 1 and 4 PM Friday with a sunny sky and a light northeast wind around 5 to 10 MPH.
A strong area of high pressure to our northeast keeps us dry and seasonable on Friday, but as it shifts east over the weekend, there’s a big warm-up in store! Check out WHNT.com/Weather for the specifics on the weekend forecast and a look at some storms coming in on Monday. Also, this warming trend does not mean we are out of the woods with respect to frosts and freezes!
