The Next 24 Hours – Breezy & Cool Wednesday

Another breezy day is in store for the Tennessee Valley, but this time the wind will be a little more tolerable thanks to some sunshine! Wind gusts will not be quite as intense as they have been since Monday night, but there will still be occasional periods where the wind gusts peak in the neighborhood of 30 MPH (especially on the higher mountain tops in East Alabama and up on the Cumberland Plateau).

Highs top out around 50 to 55 degrees on Wednesday, but the sunny “mild” weather does not last long! Temperatures plunge into the 40s for highs and 20s/30s for lows for the end of the week. There is even a chance of some snow! Be sure to check out for the latest on the potential for some light wintry precipitation.
