Holly Pond Elementary Kidcam!

This is a busy week for me as I travel around the Tennessee Valley! This morning I drove down to Cullman County to visit my old stomping grounds at Holly Pond Elementary School where I met with the 4th and 5th graders to do a little reading. If you haver never read the book Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, then you’re missing out! That’s the book I read to both groups Tuesday morning.

Many of them had already read that particular book, but in my typical weatherman way (i.e. “bad weatherman jokes”), I put my own spin on it. I hope they had as much fun as I did.

And by the way, GO BRONCOS! The boys and girls basketball teams are in the Final Four this week in Birmingham; bring home that state title!

It’s always fun to go back home and see the faces I grew up with…and some of the faces that are the children of the people I grew up with!
