Chilly Tonight, Some Morning Fog Possible
High pressure is moving into the region as clouds clear the Tennessee Valley this evening. The mainly clear skies combined with the colder air-mass, which will be ushered into the area by northeast breezes, will lead to a cold night with temperatures falling to near or below freezing Valley-wide by sunrise tomorrow.
Areas of dense fog will be possible tomorrow morning, but a northeast breeze may limit how widespread the fog becomes. Of slight concern is the possibility of some fog and drizzle forming in subfreezing conditions, but, while isolated slick spots cannot be completely ruled out, major travel problems are not anticipated in the morning.
Tomorrow should be sunny and pleasant, but the extended forecast included another high chance for rain, cooler temperatures, and a persistent active weather pattern. Check it out at WHNT.com/forecast.
