Rain On the Way
Moisture streams north and east today bringing light to moderate rainfall through the afternoon. Rainfall totals are likely to be in the one inch category between now and Wednesday morning.
This computer model shows steady rainfall through the afternoon. It will taper off Wednesday as winds pick up out of the northwest.
Colder air arrives Wednesday afternoon, but most of the moisture should be gone. Only a few flurries are possible over central Tennessee points to the north and east. Here are the chances of accumulating snow through Thursday morning. Central and northern Tennessee have a 5%-20% chance of one inch of snow from Wednesday to Thursday morning. As you can see, the Tennessee Valley should miss out on that. This weekend could be a different story. Stay tuned.
