The Next 24 Hours – More Rain on Tuesday
The chance of rain on Tuesday is about 90% for most of the Tennessee Valley, but we can be a lot more specific than that these days. Here’s the specific chance of getting at least a quarter-inch of rain between Noon and 6 PM on Tuesday:
The best chance of a 1-2″ soaking will be south of the Tennessee River on Tuesday, Tuesday night and Wednesday morning; however, rainfall totals up to 1 inch are possible even as far north as US 64 in Southern Middle Tennessee. Temperatures hold steady in the 40s and lower 50s almost all day long with a chilly, damp east-northeast breeze between 10 and 15 MPH for most of the afternoon.
Rain ends on Wednesday and some flurries in Southern Tennessee and North Alabama, but there is a better chance of some snowflakes by Saturday! Keep track of the weekend forecast over at WHNT.com/Weather!
