Morning Showers – Northeast Blizzard

Here is a look at Live Armor this morning just after 4am. Light to moderate rain moves through the Shoals. Waterloo, Florence, Tuscumbia, Cherokee, Leighton, Zip City, and Lexington all seeing rain this morning. Heavier downpours extend into Giles County and Pulaski. Rain is likely in Moulton, Athens, Decatur and eventually Huntsville this morning. It won’t last all day. Partial clearing is expected this afternoon.

Another big weather story is the huge storm set to impact the northeast. Right now an area of low pressure along the middle Atlantic coast moves north. Another piece of energy from the Great Lakes presses eastward. Both of these combine to bring blizzard conditions to the northeast later today. Over three feet of snow is possible!
