A Little Rain This Afternoon – Northeast Blizzard
Here are some of the rainfall totals from today. Not much fell, mainly along I-65 to the east. The Shoals haven’t seen much of anything so far. That will change as our next front moves in tomorrow.
Right now ARMOR shows a few light showers here and there. Nothing too heavy for the next few hours. Down to the south, there are a few pockets of light to moderate rainfall that might clip our eastern zones. If you are in Fort Payne, Albertville, up into Jackson County, you have the best chance of additional rainfall this afternoon.
On another note, a huge storm will impact the northeast on Friday. Blizzard conditions are likely with snow accumulations over two feet in some locations. Here is one computer showing dark blue (heavy snow) and tightly packed lines (strong winds) Friday afternoon over the northeast. Something to watch!
