Winter Weather Advisory – Short Term Problems

This one slipped in on us earlier than expected, and now we have some short-term problems to deal with. Temperatures are in the upper 20s and lower 30s, so almost all precipitation falling (whether it be sleet or freezing rain) is causing icy roads and bridges in northern Alabama and Southern Tennessee. The sleet/freezing rain combo is relatively light, so we will not be dealing with a major winter storm here.

Be careful as you venture out this morning. The precipitation will end by noon, and temperatures will rise into the 40s ending any icy travel by 1 PM.
