Light Rain This Morning – Isolated Ice At Best
Here is the new freezing rain advisory. It doesn’t include Madison County to the west as temperatures are milder.
Temperatures for the most part are above freezing just before 4am. However, with dry air at the surface, the atmosphere is still “saturating” and readings could drop to around freezing only for a few mainly north and east as the precipitation becomes more widespread. Here are your current temperatures.
Armor shows light returns this morning, most in the form of rain. Over the next few hours, temperatures may dip closer to 32° mainly for eastern sections of southern middle Tennessee to Jackson, Marshall Counties points east and north. Only isolated slick spots are possible along bridges and overpasses this morning. Thankfully most schools have a delayed opening. To get the latest on delays and possible closings, click here.
Stay tuned for the latest updates through the morning!
