A Damp Friday Evening

Low clouds and drizzle continue to enshroud the Tennessee Valley this afternoon, making for a somewhat dreary Friday evening. Scattered drizzle is expected through the evening hours, but all this moisture will keep temperatures from falling terribly fast overnight. Many will stay in the 40’s until 9 or 10PM.

Skies will gradually clear to partly cloudy by Saturday morning, giving temperatures a chance to fall into the lower 30’s by sunrise tomorrow. Areas of fog will be likely for many, especially the fog prone locations near the Tennessee River, for a few hours to begin the day.

Saturday looks mainly sunny and seasonable. For the full forecast of the upcoming week, including a big warm-up and more rain chances, check out WHNT’s forecast page.
