Flash flood watch in effect through Sunday morning

The Next 24 Hours – Milder for Wednesday

A light southeast wind and some sun between patches of clouds will help warm us up a little on Wednesday! Expect highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s with a partially-sunny sky and light southeast breeze around 5-10 MPH. A cold front moving south into the Valley will bring us a small chance of some very light rain or sprinkles. Since rainfall amounts would be less than 0.05″ in the few places that actually see some, we are not giving a numerical “chance” on the main forecast page and on the Seven Day.

Rain becomes more of an issue on Thursday, and a wintry issue could develop late Thursday night through Friday morning. We will keep the blog updated with new information as well as WHNT.com/Weather for more specifics on the forecast.
