Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories

The National Weather Service has altered the “watch” status to reflect the following: a Winter Weather Advisory for Madison, Limestone, Morgan, Lawrence and Cullman Counties in Alabama and Lincoln, Moore and Franklin in Tennessee. The watch has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning in Jackson, DeKalb and Marshall Counties of Northeast Alabama.

Here’s our projection of snowfall from late morning through the evening. The blue areas are enhanced totals due to terrain in Northeast Alabama. Snow amounts will vary from valley to mountaintop.
