The Next 24 Hours – Warm for Thursday

Showers continue to move across the Tennessee Valley in the overnight hours, but most of it remains light. Up to 1.30″ of rain came down in The Shoals in Wednesday; less heavy, persistent rain is in the forecast for Thursday. In fact, most of us will see less than a quarter-inch of rain over the course of the entire day.

Expect a southeast wind at 10-15 MPH on Thursday; that breeze ushers in some unusually warm air for a change! High temperatures top out in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees depending on how much sunshine you get between the clouds. It gets even warmer (possibly into record territory) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Be sure to click over to for the extended forecast discussion.
