Sunny but Cool Saturday
The latest storm system to affect the Tennessee Valley is now far enough removed from the area that the clouds and high winds it was providing are no longer being seen. Clear skies and calm winds combined with a dry atmosphere made for ideal conditions for dropping temperatures overnight, meaning we’re starting Saturday with very cold conditions, but thankfully the wind chill is not nearly the factor it was yesterday morning.
There are no major systems coming down the pike to our immediate west, so Saturday will be sunny but cool with fairly light breezes. The next storm system we are expecting will begin to have a subtle influence tonight by shifting our winds back to a southerly direction. Clouds will begin increasing early Sunday and rain chances will be on the rise heading into the holiday week.
