Cool and Windy Saturday

Posted on: 8:20 am, October 27, 2012, by

Saturday kicked off chilly and a little damp some areas, with fog and light showers accompanying much colder air. The rain showers are quickly fading away, but the low clouds will be tough to get rid of thanks to Hurricane Sandy now moving north in the Atlantic.

The afternoon will be cool and windy and clouds will likely stick around through most of the day for many areas, although sunny skies could be seen in western areas by mid-day. Winds will be very strong with gusts to 30mph possible.

Even cooler air will be ushered in as Sandy moves northeast and eventually makes landfall somewhere in the Northeastern United States. Check out the full forecast at WHNT’s Forecast Page.
