The Next 24 Hours – Wednesday

Posted on: 8:35 pm, October 23, 2012, by

High temperatures on Tuesday ranged from the upper 70s to the lower 80s around the Tennessee Valley, and there is more of that in our immediate future! Wednesday will be another gorgeous October day. It will start out a little cool with morning lows ranging from the upper 40s in our usual cold pockets (around DeKalb, Jackson, Franklin [TN], Franklin [AL], Lawrence and Limestone Counties in particular) to the lower 50s inside the larger cities like Huntsville, Decatur, Florence and Muscle Shoals. By mid-afternoon, the breeze will be blowing in at 6 to 12 MPH, and temperatures will rise up to near 80º for the daytime high.

Other than a few passing clouds, we will see a sunny, dry day! There are some big changes coming by the weekend, though. We’ve got a lot of detail on that here on Valleywx.com and in the forecast discussion on WHNT.com/Weather!
