Photos of a Dusty Day Around the Valley
We are still getting a lot of questions about why the sky was so hazy and dusty today, and if you’ve not seen the explanation yet, it was the leftover plume of dust from Thursday’s dust storm over the Plains. The dust particles in our atmosphere today originated over Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas, and they traveled on that gusty west-southwest breeze all Thursday night and all day Friday. There’s more about the dust storm here on Valleywx.com.
