A developing storm system to the west impacts the region tonight. Expect heavy storms after sunset lasting through daybreak on Thursday.

Tornado chances are highest to the west.
Timing for the strong to severe storms:
Midnight-2am: The Shoals
2am-4am: Madison, Morgan, Limestone
4am-6am: Marshall, DeKalb, Jackson.
