Rain and Storms Moving In

A line of showers and storms with lightning and heavy rain is currently moving southeast at 30mph into Southern Middle Tennessee and will track across the Tennessee Valley through the morning hours. There’s a slight chance for some locations west of I-65 to stay dry, but everyone will have a good shot of at least a period of heavy rain. Although the storms may be a bit noisy, they are not severe.

Rain chances should be limited mainly to the first half of the day today, and we will likely be completely dry by this evening and may even see some clearing skies before the sun sets. This means high school football is expected to be dry.
