Frost Advisory in Tennessee

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Frost Advisory for Stewart, Montgomery, Robertson, Sumner, Macon, Clay, Pickett, Benton, Houston, Humphreys, Dickson, Cheatham, Davidson, Wilson, Trousdale, Smith, Jackson, Putnam, Overton, Fentress, Perry, Hickman, Lewis, Williamson, Maury, Marshall, Rutherford, Cannon, DeKalb, White, Cumberland, Bedford, Coffee, Warren, Grundy, Van Buren, Wayne and Lawrence Counties.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A FROST
ADVISORY…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 8 AM CDT TUESDAY.

* TEMPERATURES…LOWS IN THE MID 30S MOST AREAS.

* IMPACTS…SENSITIVE VEGETATION COULD BE DAMAGED BY THE FROST.
STEPS SHOULD BE TAKEN TO PROTECT ANY SENSITIVE OUTDOOR
VEGETATION.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS LIKELY. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR
PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.

Outside of the possibility of some patchy frost, there will be widespread dense fog around the Tennessee Valley and parts of Middle Tennessee on Tuesday morning.
