WHNT Weather
More Light Rain Possible
Clouds and a brisk north wind have kept temperatures more than 20 degrees cooler than they were 24 hours across the Tennessee Valley today with only a few locations seeing sunshine.
Another batch of showers is trying to move toward the area, but dry air near the surface will likely prohibit much of the rain from reaching the ground. Nevertheless, we may see another round of sprinkles or light rain over the next few hours. The best chance for rain will be west of I-65 with decreasing chances further east.
The strong north winds will persist tonight and may actually increase to about 20mph. Temperatures are expected to drop into the 40′s with wind chill values in the low 40′s and upper 30′s possible.
