The first really strong cold front of the Fall season has come and gone, and it has left us with some chilly weather to start Wednesday! Morning low temperatures in the mid-40s will be some of the coolest temperatures we have seen in Huntsville since April 24th: the last time it was in the lower and middle 40s.

Futurecast Temperatures for Wednesday at 6 AM

We are projecting a high temperature around 72 degrees Wednesday afternoon. Keep in mind that the high usually occurs for a few minutes between 2 and 4 PM this time of year. A strong north breeze will hold temperatures down in the 60s for most of the day with a brief venture up into the 70s in the middle of the afternoon. Once the sun sets, expect it to get chilly again in a hurry. Low temperatures by Thursday morning will once again dip into the 40s.

If this isn’t cold enough for you, just wait a few days. There may be an even chillier air mass in here by Sunday & Monday. Be sure to check out the full Seven Day Discussion at WHNT.com Weather!
