Flash Flood Warnings

Flash Flood Warning have been issued for Giles and Marshall counties in southern middle Tennessee until 5:00 pm. Also a Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Lauderdale and Colbert counties in northwest Alabama until 5:15 pm.  In the warning areas already 2-3″ of rain has fallen in some parts with another 1-2+ inches possible.  There have already been reports of flooding around the Shoals, so please use extreme caution on the roadways and remember not to drive through flooded roads. Below is the latest radar image as of 2:35 pm, with the green boxes showing the Flash Flood Warnings.

More showers and isolated storms will increase in coverage, spreading eastward and continue to move across the region throughout the evening and overnight hours, into Tuesday.
