Eastern Alabama in a Slight Risk for Severe Storms

The Storm Prediction center has just placed eastern Alabama, northern and western Georgia and a small portion of southern middle Tennessee around Chattanooga in a Slight Risk for severe storms. The concerns are high wind, with possibly a storm or two rotating.  A severe thunderstorm or tornado warning is not out of the question, but we are not expecting widespread severe weather.  The main concern continues to be the heavy rain and flooding threat.
