Rain Chances Increasing
There has not been a single drop of rain in North Alabama or Southern Middle Tennessee since last weekend, but that’s about to change. We have noticed a few showers over North Mississippi and West Tennessee this afternoon from near Corinth northward into McNairy, Hardeman, and Chester Counties. These showers are relatively light and short-lived; there is a small chance that a few spots in Lauderdale & Colbert Counties of Northwest Alabama and Hardin, Wayne, and Lawrence Counties in Tennessee could get a shower or two this evening. There is a better chance of that happening tomorrow and Saturday, though!
A cold front nearing the Tennessee Valley on Friday and hanging around through Saturday will keep a few showers in the forecast for the next two days. Rain will not be widespread nor will it be heavy. The chance of rain on a more widespread basis comes in on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday:
After that, there’s a big blast of Fall weather for the middle and end of next week! Be sure to check out the full Seven Day Forecast and football weather over at WHNT.com Weather!
