Beautiful, Refreshing Morning!
It was an absolutely gorgeous start to the second half of the weekend, in case you missed the sunrise…this is what it looked like about 20 minutes before sunrise (which was at 6:26 am) from our downtown Huntsville camera.
Not only was there a beautiful sky this morning, it was crisp and cool…another taste of Fall before it officially starts in 13 days, on September 22nd. Temperatures this morning mostly cooled into the low to mid 50s, close to record morning lows for some, but none were broken. Below are the morning lows across the Tennessee Valley earlier this morning.
Today will be beautiful, with a sunny sky, a pleasant northerly breeze and temperatures below average for mid-to-late September, warming to around 80 degrees. Normal high temperatures are mostly in the upper 80s. On top of cooler temperatures, it is also a lot less humid outside, with dewpoints in the 50s. So go outside and enjoy it!
I’m sure many are asking how long will these pleasant and comfortable temperatures last? They’ll last for awhile. There will be a slow warming trend with highs warming into the mid 80s by midweek and morning lows warming to near 60 degrees, but this is still below average. Dry conditions will persist through the work week, with only a small chance for rain Saturday as a front approaches. Not too bad for September standards…have a great week!
