Storms to the North Again
It seems like the weather is trying to repeat itself over the past 24 hours; it’s been hot and humid around the Tennessee Valley this afternoon with highs in the lower 90s. To the northwest, storms are blowing across Southeast Missouri toward Kentucky, Illinois, and Tennessee:
While there is a small chance some of these storms could make it as far south as Middle Tennessee and maybe even North Alabama, we do not expect it to be quite as stormy as last night. The dynamics (lift that supports the storms) will stay farther north tonight, and in spite of the hot, humid air, it is not as unstable here as it is to our northwest. That means there is less fuel to keep these storms rolling all night!
We’ll be watching it and keep you updated in case something changes!
