The Rest of the Night

As the storms slowly quiet down across the Tennessee Valley tonight, there will be a break in the action through most of Thursday and Friday. Showers and storms are possible, but they’re not necessarily likely. It will get hot and humid for the next couple of days, but a big cold front is set to arrive on Saturday; that will be the first true taste of Fall 2012!

This cooler air mass will collide with the hot, humid air around the South bringing a round of more heavy rain and some scattered storms late Friday night into early Saturday morning. At this point, no severe storms are expected. You can read more about the extended forecast at WHNT.com Weather!

Lows may dip into the 40s with highs only in the 70s Sunday and Monday!
