Saturday Night Update- Showers Moving Through

Light to moderate rain is now spreading from Central into Eastern portions of the Tennessee Valley. These showers are remnants of thunderstorms that moved through Central Alabama during the late afternoon hours and will affect mainly areas near and east of I-65 through the next several hours.

More shower or thunderstorm development cannot be ruled out, but  folks well west of 65 will have a good chance of remaining dry overnight.
