Foggy Start – Pleasant For Now

Visibilities were low this morning especially in Jackson & DeKalb Counties.

We have changes down the road with a cold front moving in. A greater chance of showers and storms are expected Friday. Some could be strong to severe.

 

Behind our front, temperatures stay just below our seasonal average. The yellow and orange on the following map indicate cooler air.

 

The tropics are quiet as we close in on the peak of hurricane season September 10th.
There is one disturbance in the central Atlantic. It’s no threat to the United States.
