Radar Update – 5:50 PM

Posted on: 5:55 pm, August 4, 2012, by

Storm coverage has decreased significantly over the past hour across the Tennessee Valley. Isolated showers remain, with the newest development now along an outfloww boundary running through Jackson and Marshall Counties. Like the earlier storms, this activity is basically stationary, so more localized ponding or street flodding is possibly under the stronger cells.

The highest likelihood for rain for the rest of the evening will be near that boundary in eastern areas, but overall things are calming down. A few more showers cannot be ruled out overnight, but much of the area should remain rain-free.
