Radar Update – 7:45 PM

Heavy thunderstorms have been moving across portions of Marshall and Morgan County for the past hour or so. The storms in Marshall County weakened as they moved through Guntersville, but those in Southern Morgan County are still producing heavy downpours and lightning. Gusty winds will be possible with these strong cells as they now move further into Cullman County.  General movement of all storms is southeast at 25mph.

Elsewhere, isolated showers are located in Northern Lawrence and DeKalb counties.

We’ve not seen any severe thunderstorm warnings thus far this afternoon, and as we head deeper into the evening, the threat will diminish.
