A Few Heavy Storms

Heavy thunderstorms are clustered north of The Shoals now right along the state line between Lauderdale County, Alabama and Wayne County, Tennessee. Since there is very little movement with today’s storms, expect them to stay north of Florence through 7 PM.

There is a small chance that storms in this cluster could grow briefly severe with gusty winds near/over 60 MPH or hail larger than quarters. The main issue is the intense lightning and very heavy rain falling now near AL 157, The Natchez Trace Parkway, TN 227, and TN 13 between Cypress Inn and Collinwood in Wayne County.
