Afternoon Rain Update
The rain stopped for a while, but it’s about to pick up in earnest again throughout much of the Valley. Heavy rain showers are moving north-northeast at about 20 MPH from near US 278 north into Franklin, Lawrence, Morgan and Marshall Counties. The heaviest rain will stay in the areas between US 431 and The Shoals through 7 PM; however, some isolated heavier showers could impact parts of Cherokee, Jackson and DeKalb Counties as well as much of Southern Tennessee through 7 PM as well:
