Much Needed Rain Heading Our Way

I hope you enjoyed our stretch of pleasant weather. We’re headed for several days of much needed rainfall. Enjoy today though, the forecast looks very nice!

An upper level disturbance approaches the Tennessee Valley on Saturday night increasing our rain chances. For your outdoor activities, Saturday will be the best day for that.

We need the rainfall. After a soggy January, February through May have been very dry. We’ve ended each month with a rain deficit.

The forecast should cooperate for the BikeMS North Alabama in Athens Saturday. Our risk of a shower is very small.

On the lighter side, we had a visitor this morning to WHNT News 19 morning show. This bird decided it wanted a little air time just before 6am.
