Isolated Thunderstorms Popping Up
Radar Update- 3:57PM
A few heavy showers and thunderstorms have been showing up in Franklin Counties- forming in the heat of the afternoon.
We can’t rule out some gusty winds and small hail with some of the stronger cells, but thunderstorms should be very isolated and a cap should keep most of the Valley dry this evening. I expect these storms to weaken after sunset.
More widespread showers and storms will spread into the area overnight through tomorrow as a “short-wave” disturbance moves across North Alabama/Southern Tennessee.
